Diggers’ Mirth Collective Farm in Burlington, Vermont is a farm that is close to the heart of the Spring Hills Foundation. The Farm is run, in part, by Dylan Zeitlyn who is also the Sugar-maker for Spring Hills Farm. This July, Diggers’ Mirth suffered a complete loss of its crops in the flooding that occurred in Vermont.
Like so many farms across Vermont, Diggers lost everything in the flood--total crop loss and much equipment destroyed. It's still unclear if replanting will be possible after the fields dry out.
